Joseph was surprised to find that King Raymond was not shocked to hear of the conspiracy against his wife. He said that she has always kept herself cooped up inside her private study for days at a time and he was always suspicious of her actions. He added that she had seemed different for years, but he tired to ignore it and tried to live in happiness. Raymond took Joseph to his carriage and they left for the wedding. It took me three days to recover from most of my injuries.
